Job Description
Are you passionate about hair and looking to break into the exciting world of bridal styling? Olivia Muldoon Bridal Hair is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bridal Hair Assistant to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring stylist or someone with foundational hair skills to learn from industry experts, gain invaluable experience, and contribute to unforgettable wedding day moments. You will be an integral part of our team, primarily assisting lead stylists at various beautiful wedding venues, predominantly on weekends. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead stylists with hair preparation, including washing, blow-drying, and setting.
- Organize and maintain styling stations, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness at all times.
- Manage and prepare styling tools, products, and accessories for each wedding booking.
- Provide excellent client service, ensuring brides and their bridal party feel comfortable and pampered.
- Travel to various wedding venues across Northern Ireland, often requiring early starts.
- Support lead stylists during bridal hair trials and on the wedding day.
- Assist with client consultations, note-taking, and scheduling as required.
- Adhere to strict timelines to ensure a smooth and punctual service on wedding days.

- Foundational understanding of hair care and basic styling techniques.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Punctual, reliable, and highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (even informal) in a salon, beauty, or customer service role.
- Completed or currently enrolled in a hairdressing course/qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2).
- A valid driving license and access to reliable transport.
- Experience working with different hair types and textures.
- Basic knowledge of bridal hair trends and styles.
