Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload packages from trailers and conveyances.
- Sort packages according to destination and load into appropriate containers or trailers.
- Operate package handling equipment such as conveyors and manual pallet jacks.
- Scan packages using handheld devices to ensure accurate tracking and delivery.
- Inspect and verify package integrity, reporting any damages or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs, occasionally up to 75 lbs with assistance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a warehouse or dock environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or package handling role.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
- Familiarity with scanning technology and inventory systems.
