As a Buffet Quality Auditor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence. You will be responsible for meticulously inspecting our buffet setups, from the freshness of ingredients to the aesthetic presentation and adherence to food safety protocols. Your keen eye will ensure every guest enjoys a flawless dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections of buffet setup, food presentation, and replenishment to ensure adherence to Marriott's brand standards.
- Monitor food temperatures and storage compliance diligently, reporting any deviations.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards of all buffet areas and equipment are consistently maintained.
- Audit food quality, taste, and freshness at various intervals throughout service periods.
- Document audit findings, observations, and recommendations clearly and accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to address quality issues promptly and constructively.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety regulations, local health codes, and company policies.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional observation skills.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene principles (comprehensive training will be provided).
- Ability to work independently, taking initiative, and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to articulate findings respectfully.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus.
- Familiarity with local health codes and regulations.
- Current Food Handler's Permit or willingness to obtain one upon hire.
