Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Castle Hotel Porter to join our prestigious team at The Petersham Hotel. In this crucial front-of-house role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, ensuring every guest receives impeccable service from arrival to departure. This position requires a proactive individual with a passion for hospitality, an eye for detail, and a commitment to upholding our high standards of luxury and guest satisfaction. You will contribute significantly to creating a unique and memorable experience for all our visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all guests upon arrival and departure, assisting with luggage handling.
- Escort guests to their rooms, providing a brief orientation to the hotel's facilities and services.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally, offering local information and recommendations.
- Assist with the parking and retrieval of guest vehicles, ensuring smooth traffic flow at the hotel entrance.
- Maintain the cleanliness, tidiness, and presentation of the hotel's entrance, lobby, and public areas.
- Support other hotel departments as needed to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure the security of guest belongings and hotel property.
- Assist with the delivery of mail, messages, and packages to guests and departments.
- Manage the storage and retrieval of luggage securely.
