Job Description
We are seeking experienced CDL-A Drivers for a lucrative ‘No Touch Freight’ position based out of Jersey City, NJ. This is an incredible opportunity for professional drivers looking to maximize their earnings with excellent yearly potential, while avoiding the physical demands of loading and unloading. You will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods across designated routes, ensuring compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations, including DOT hours of service.
- Transport 'no touch' freight, meaning no loading or unloading by the driver is required.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and submit all required documentation in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Ensure the security of cargo during transit.
- Represent XPO Logistics professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 'no touch freight' operations.
- Hazardous Materials (HazMat) endorsement.
- Tanker endorsement (if applicable).
- Experience operating various types of commercial vehicles.
