Job Description
Are you looking for a fun, active, and festive way to earn some extra cash this holiday season? Lowe’s in Pasco, Washington is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as a Christmas Tree Lot Attendant. This is a temporary, seasonal position perfect for those who enjoy working outdoors, helping customers, and soaking in the holiday spirit. You’ll be instrumental in assisting customers with selecting, preparing, and loading their perfect Christmas tree, ensuring a joyful and seamless shopping experience. No prior experience is necessary; we’ll provide all the training you need. Just bring your positive attitude and willingness to contribute to our festive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting the ideal Christmas tree.
- Provide information about different tree types, sizes, and care instructions.
- Measure, trim, and wrap Christmas trees according to customer specifications.
- Safely load Christmas trees onto customer vehicles.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Christmas tree lot, including daily setup and breakdown.
- Monitor tree inventory and report low stock.
- Assist with other lot duties as needed, such as tagging and watering trees.
- Ensure a safe working environment for both customers and colleagues.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service with a festive attitude.
Required Skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong physical stamina, including the ability to lift and carry heavy trees (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude and a desire to contribute to a festive holiday environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role.
- Familiarity with Christmas tree varieties and care.
- Experience with cash handling or point-of-sale systems (will train as needed).
- Comfortable using basic measuring and cutting tools (e.g., tape measure, hand saw).
