Job Description
Are you passionate about fitness and love being part of a vibrant community? CrossFit Eastbourne is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Crossfit Box All-Rounder to join our fun and friendly team for casual shifts. This role is perfect for someone who is energetic, customer-focused, and eager to contribute to the smooth operation and positive atmosphere of our box. You’ll be the friendly face our members see daily, helping with everything from front desk operations to maintaining the gym’s readiness for classes. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet members and visitors, managing check-ins and inquiries at the front desk.
- Assist with new member sign-ups, tour explanations, and general membership administration.
- Handle retail sales of merchandise, supplements, and other gym products.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the gym floor, common areas, and equipment.
- Support coaches with class setup and breakdown as needed.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and social media messages promptly and professionally.
- Assist with light administrative tasks and community event planning.
- Ensure a positive, welcoming, and safe environment for all members.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- A genuine passion for fitness, health, and the CrossFit methodology.
- Basic computer proficiency for managing schedules and member accounts.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a gym, fitness center, or customer service role.
- Familiarity with CrossFit programming and culture.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience with gym management software (e.g., Wodify, Pike13).
- Basic social media management skills.
