Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate EA Sports FC 24/25 Evaluator with a deep focus on competitive gaming to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the balance, fairness, and overall quality of the game from a high-level competitive perspective. You will be responsible for rigorously testing gameplay mechanics, player attributes, tactical systems, and competitive modes, providing detailed feedback to our development teams. The ideal candidate possesses an extensive understanding of competitive EA Sports FC, a proven track record in high-level play, and excellent analytical and communication skills. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a global phenomenon from your own home.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct extensive testing of EA Sports FC 24/25, focusing on competitive gameplay balance, exploits, and meta-game implications.
- Identify and document bugs, glitches, and potential balancing issues in detail, providing clear reproduction steps and impact assessments.
- Evaluate player attributes, skill moves, tactics, and AI behavior from a competitive lens, suggesting improvements for fairness and realism.
- Participate in daily playtesting sessions, both solo and with other evaluators, simulating high-stakes competitive matches.
- Provide constructive, detailed, and data-driven feedback to design and development teams through written reports and verbal discussions.
- Stay current with the competitive EA Sports FC scene, community feedback, and professional player strategies.
- Collaborate with QA, design, and development teams to ensure a high-quality and balanced competitive experience.
- Analyze game data and telemetry to identify trends and validate qualitative feedback.
- Contribute to the refinement of testing methodologies and reporting processes.
Required Skills
- Expert-level knowledge and extensive experience playing EA Sports FC (formerly FIFA) in a competitive setting.
- Proven ability to reach high ranks in Ultimate Team Champions (FUT Champs), Divisions Rivals, or equivalent competitive modes.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to dissect complex gameplay mechanics and identify nuanced issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of articulating detailed feedback clearly and concisely.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Proficiency with common gaming platforms (e.g., PlayStation, Xbox, PC) and controller mechanics.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a professional or semi-professional EA Sports FC player.
- Prior experience in game testing, quality assurance, or game design roles.
- Familiarity with game development cycles and bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).
- Participation in official EA Sports FC esports tournaments or community competitive leagues.
- A degree in a related field such as Game Design, Computer Science, or Sports Management.
