Job Description
Are you passionate about video games and have a keen eye for detail? We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated EA Sports QA Aide to join our quality assurance team in Provo, UT. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who have a high school diploma or GED and are eager to start their career in the gaming industry. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and playability of our EA Sports titles by identifying and reporting bugs and issues. This is an on-site role where you’ll be part of a dynamic team, contributing directly to the player experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and test cases with precision on various platforms and devices.
- Identify, document, and report bugs and glitches using our internal bug tracking system.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure the resolution of reported issues.
- Provide clear and concise feedback on game functionality, usability, and overall player experience.
- Collaborate with QA Leads and development teams to understand game features and testing requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current EA Sports titles and industry best practices.
- Perform regression testing and ad-hoc testing as needed.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Strong passion for video games, especially sports titles.
- Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and execute test plans accurately.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with common operating systems.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience playing EA Sports titles.
- Familiarity with various gaming platforms (e.g., PlayStation, Xbox, PC).
- Basic understanding of quality assurance methodologies.
