Job Description
Join Belle Fleur Studio as an Event Decorator Assistant and embark on an exciting journey into the world of floral and event design. This entry-level position is perfect for enthusiastic individuals eager to learn the foundational skills of event decoration, floral artistry, and table styling. You will work closely with our experienced designers, gaining hands-on experience from concept to execution. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead designers with the preparation and setup of floral arrangements and event decor elements.
- Learn and apply techniques for floral conditioning, arrangement, and breakdown.
- Help with the packing, loading, and unloading of event supplies and decor items.
- Support on-site event setup, ensuring designs are executed according to specifications.
- Participate in the breakdown and cleanup of events, carefully handling all materials.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the studio, ensuring tools and supplies are properly stored.
- Assist with inventory management and tracking of floral and decor items.
- Shadow designers to learn about client consultations and concept development.
- Perform various supportive tasks as needed to ensure smooth event operations.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong passion for event design, floristry, or creative arts.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying conditions.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to dynamic event schedules.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
