Job Description
We are seeking an Executive Roadway Specialist with a strong focus on high-mileage road network management and optimization. This pivotal role involves overseeing the strategic planning, development, and maintenance of extensive roadway systems, ensuring their long-term viability, efficiency, and safety. The successful candidate will leverage deep expertise in civil engineering, traffic management, and infrastructure asset management to drive innovative solutions and operational excellence across our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development and implementation of high-mileage roadway network plans.
- Oversee the lifecycle management of extensive roadway assets, including condition assessment, maintenance programming, and rehabilitation strategies.
- Direct and manage multi-disciplinary teams involved in roadway design, construction, and operations.
- Develop and implement advanced traffic management strategies to optimize flow and reduce congestion.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to achieve strategic objectives.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct advanced data analysis to identify trends, predict performance, and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Introduce and integrate innovative technologies and best practices in roadway engineering and asset management.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in roadway engineering or infrastructure management.
- Proven expertise in managing high-mileage road networks.
- Extensive knowledge of roadway design, construction, and maintenance methodologies.
- Proficiency in traffic engineering principles and transportation planning.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure asset management systems and practices.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and budgets.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience with Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and smart city initiatives.
- Familiarity with public-private partnership (PPP) models in infrastructure development.
