Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Experienced Care Workers to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This unique opportunity offers full Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) and comprehensive relocation support for eligible candidates looking to start a rewarding career in the United States. As an Experienced Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality personal care and support to individuals within their homes or in assisted living facilities, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals, assisting with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and feeding.
  • Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate dosage and documentation.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, observe changes in physical or mental condition, and report any concerns to the nursing staff or relevant supervisor.
  • Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship, promoting mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed care records, adhering to all privacy and confidentiality regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and continuous care for all clients.
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures, including infection control.
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Care Worker or similar role.
  • Demonstrable experience in assisting with personal care, mobility, and medication administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong observational and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in English, meeting UKVI language requirements for a Certificate of Sponsorship.
  • Right to work in the United States (CoS provided for eligible candidates).

Preferred Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Previous experience working with diverse client populations or in different care settings.
  • Valid US driving license and access to reliable transportation.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
