Job Description

Are you passionate about fashion and have a keen eye for detail? We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Fashion Product Tagger to join our remote e-commerce team. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring our extensive product catalog is accurately categorized and tagged, enhancing our customers’ search and discovery experience. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately tag fashion products with relevant attributes (e.g., color, material, style, occasion, brand) based on product imagery and descriptions.
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to established tagging guidelines and taxonomy standards.
  • Identify and escalate any discrepancies or ambiguities in product information to the relevant teams.
  • Collaborate with content, merchandising, and product teams to refine tagging strategies and improve data quality.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of internal tagging tools and processes.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and quality in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Required Skills

  • Strong passion for fashion and a solid understanding of current trends, styles, and terminology.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using web-based tools and comfortable with digital platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in e-commerce, retail, or data entry, particularly in a fashion-related field.
  • Familiarity with product information management (PIM) systems or content management systems (CMS).
  • A diploma or degree in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field.
