Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in the fast-paced world of food service? McDonald’s in Yonkers is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Fast Food Fry Station crew member. This is a high-speed role where efficiency and attention to detail are key. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success. You’ll be an integral part of our kitchen team, responsible for preparing our famous fries and other fried menu items to the highest quality standards, ensuring quick and accurate service to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the fry station equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare and cook french fries and other fried products according to McDonald's standards and recipes.
- Monitor food quality and ensure all products meet freshness and temperature guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment, counters, and floors.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.
- Replenish supplies as needed at the fry station.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Basic understanding of food safety principles (training provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or fast-food setting is a plus, but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
