Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as a FedEx Ground Warehouse Associate in Corpus Christi. This is a direct hire, full-time position offering competitive pay and benefits. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in our package handling operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods through our facility. You will be responsible for loading and unloading packages, sorting them by destination, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading packages from delivery vehicles, trailers, and conveyor belts.
- Sorting packages accurately based on destination and handling requirements.
- Scanning packages and entering data into tracking systems.
- Operating material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Performing other warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic literacy and mathematical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Commitment to safety procedures and guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
