Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our remote team, specifically focusing on recruitment support. This is a 100% remote position where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our hiring processes across various departments. You will provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to our recruitment specialists and hiring managers, helping us attract and onboard top talent to FedEx. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced virtual environment. You will be instrumental in maintaining a positive candidate experience and supporting our overall HR objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist recruitment specialists with job posting creation, distribution, and management on various platforms.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, including sending invitations, managing calendars, and providing necessary information to candidates and interviewers.
- Manage and maintain candidate databases and applicant tracking systems (ATS), ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct initial resume screening and basic qualification checks against job requirements.
- Prepare offer letters, new hire paperwork, and facilitate background checks and pre-employment screenings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidate inquiries, providing timely and professional communication.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing welcome kits and coordinating initial training schedules.
- Generate recruitment reports and track key metrics to assist with process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality of all HR information and handle sensitive data with discretion.
- Collaborate with HR team members on various projects and initiatives as needed.
Required Skills
- 1+ year of experience in an HR administrative or recruitment support role.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS software (e.g., Workday, Taleo).
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with remote team collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams).
- Familiarity with recruitment best practices and employment law.
- Experience in a large, fast-paced corporate environment.
