Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Field Market Researchers to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will be on the front lines, collecting essential data directly from consumers in various settings across Centennial, CO, and potentially other major USA cities. Your work will directly contribute to Nielsen’s mission of providing comprehensive and actionable insights to our clients, helping them understand consumer behavior and market trends. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, have excellent organizational skills, and are committed to data accuracy and integrity. You will be responsible for administering surveys, conducting interviews, and ensuring the highest quality of data collection to support our diverse range of research projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person interviews and administer surveys with respondents in designated field locations.
- Accurately record and document all collected data using company-provided tools and technology.
- Adhere strictly to survey protocols, ethical guidelines, and data privacy regulations.
- Recruit and screen potential survey participants based on specific demographic and behavioral criteria.
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with all respondents and team members.
- Manage and organize daily field assignments and submit completed data promptly.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with data collection devices as needed.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on research methodologies and tools.
- Provide constructive feedback on survey instruments and field procedures to improve efficiency.

- Proficiency with tablet-based data collection applications (training provided).

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field.
- Previous experience in market research, customer service, or public-facing roles.
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with diverse neighborhoods and communities within Centennial and surrounding areas.
- Ability to adapt to varying work schedules, including some evenings and weekends.
