Job Description
Are you passionate about nails and ready to launch your career in the beauty industry? The Ten Spot Burnaby is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Nail Tech Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity for individuals with little to no prior experience to gain comprehensive, hands-on training and mentorship from experienced professionals. We provide a full professional nail kit and in-house training to help you master the art of nail care, from basic manicures and pedicures to advanced techniques. If you’re eager to learn, have a keen eye for detail, and are dedicated to providing outstanding client service, we want to hear from you! This role is perfect for someone looking for a supportive environment to kickstart a rewarding career.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all in-house training sessions and mentorship programs.
- Learn and practice a wide range of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, gel polish application, and nail art.
- Assist senior nail technicians with client preparation and salon upkeep.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and adhere to strict sanitation protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all clients.
- Develop strong product knowledge and recommend appropriate nail care solutions to clients.
- Observe and learn best practices in client consultation, service delivery, and retail sales.
- Gradually take on client appointments under supervision as skills develop.
