Job Description
Banner Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Gastroenterology Doctor to join our thriving medical team in Chandler, Arizona. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including but not limited to inflammatory bowel disease, liver diseases, pancreatic disorders, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
- Perform various endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies, gastroscopies, and ERCPs (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based medicine.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of specialists, primary care physicians, nurses, and support staff.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergent gastroenterological care when required.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
- Commit to continuous professional development and staying abreast of the latest advancements in gastroenterology.
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment options, ensuring informed consent.
Required Skills
- Medical Doctor (MD/DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship program.
- Valid medical license or eligibility for licensure in the state of Arizona.
- Strong clinical diagnostic and procedural skills in gastroenterology.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care abilities.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality healthcare.

- Experience with advanced endoscopic procedures.
- Experience in an academic or large hospital setting.
- Participation in clinical research or quality improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in multiple languages.
