Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable General Laborers to join our construction team in Conroe, TX. This is an immediate start, full-time position for individuals ready to contribute to various construction projects. No prior experience is required; we are looking for motivated individuals eager to learn and grow in the construction industry. You will assist skilled tradespeople, maintain a safe work environment, and ensure projects run smoothly. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) with various tasks.
- Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and other vehicles.
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris, trash, and hazardous materials.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Dig trenches, compact earth, and set braces to support the sides of excavations.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations on the job site.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned by the site supervisor.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform strenuous physical work, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic understanding of construction site environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a construction or industrial setting (even minimal).
- OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain).
