Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Laborer for General Warehouse Maintenance to join our team in Tucson, AZ. This essential role involves performing a variety of tasks to ensure the cleanliness, organization, and basic operational functionality of our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient working environment through general upkeep, light repairs, and material handling. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to facility readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in designated warehouse areas.
- Assist with the organization and proper storage of tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Conduct basic maintenance duties, including changing light bulbs, minor patching, and painting as needed.
- Operate manual pallet jacks or other non-powered equipment to move materials and maintain clear pathways.
- Support facility safety programs by identifying and reporting potential hazards or maintenance issues.
- Assist skilled tradespersons with more complex repairs or projects.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, industrial, or general labor environment.
