Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in comprehensive training sessions and workshops focused on Google Cloud Platform services (e.g., Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Kubernetes Engine).
- Assist senior engineers and architects in designing, implementing, and deploying cloud-native solutions.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and applications.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support for Google Cloud environments.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest Google Cloud features, services, and best practices.
- Work towards achieving Google Cloud certifications, supported by Capgemini.
Required Skills
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts (e.g., Python, Java, Go) and scripting.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Linux/Windows) and networking fundamentals.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship or project experience involving cloud technologies (any cloud provider).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of database concepts (SQL/NoSQL).
- Any foundational Google Cloud certification (e.g., Cloud Digital Leader) or a strong interest in achieving one.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
