Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Google Marketing Data Analyst with a strong focus on Consumer Insights to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in leveraging Google’s vast marketing platforms and data to uncover deep consumer insights, drive strategic marketing decisions, and optimize campaign performance. You will analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and translate data into compelling narratives that inform our clients’ strategies. This is a crucial position for someone passionate about data-driven marketing and understanding consumer behavior.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis of Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other Google marketing platform data to identify consumer trends, campaign performance, and market opportunities.
- Develop and implement robust data models and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to consumer behavior and marketing effectiveness.
- Conduct in-depth research and segmentation analysis to identify target audiences, understand purchase journeys, and predict consumer responses.
- Collaborate with marketing strategists, product managers, and sales teams to translate data insights into actionable recommendations and optimize marketing spend.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to internal and external stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
- Stay current with the latest Google marketing product updates, data analytics tools, and consumer insights methodologies.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with privacy regulations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Ads.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Google Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI).
- Expertise in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and research methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to translate data insights into business recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with Python or R for advanced data analysis and predictive modeling.
- Familiarity with other marketing platforms (e.g., social media analytics, CRM data).
- Certification in Google Analytics or Google Ads.
- Experience in the CPG, Retail, or Media industries.
