Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and fashion-savvy Luxury Visual Tagger to join our dynamic digital merchandising team. In this ‘Smart Working’ role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the high visual standards of our luxury product catalog across all digital platforms. Your expertise will ensure that every product is accurately tagged, categorized, and presented in a manner that reflects the prestige and elegance synonymous with Saks Fifth Avenue. This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work model, blending collaborative on-site work with remote capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately tag luxury products with relevant visual attributes (e.g., color, material, pattern, style, occasion) according to established guidelines and taxonomies.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in product metadata across all digital touchpoints, enhancing searchability and customer experience.
- Collaborate with photography, styling, and merchandising teams to understand product details and seasonal trends.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on product imagery and associated visual tags.
- Identify and report discrepancies or inconsistencies in product visuals and data.
- Stay current with luxury fashion trends, brand identities, and visual merchandising best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of visual tagging processes and guidelines.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of luxury fashion, designers, brands, and styling.
- Proficiency in using digital asset management (DAM) systems or similar product information management (PIM) tools.
- Strong aesthetic sense and understanding of visual merchandising principles.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in e-commerce visual tagging, digital merchandising, or luxury retail.
- Familiarity with various product categorization strategies and search optimization techniques.
