Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Google Media Planner with a ‘High Energy Ad focus’ to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere in the UK. As a Google Media Planner, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing high-impact Google Ads campaigns across various platforms, including Search, Display, YouTube, and Shopping. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to understand objectives, translate them into actionable media strategies, and deliver measurable results. Your passion for digital advertising, analytical mindset, and proactive approach will be key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive Google Ads strategies aligned with client objectives and market trends.
- Manage and optimize paid search (PPC), display, video, and shopping campaigns on Google Ads.
- Conduct thorough keyword research, audience segmentation, and competitor analysis.
- Monitor campaign performance daily, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations.
- Prepare detailed performance reports and present insights and recommendations to clients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Ads features, advertising trends, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with creative and analytics teams to ensure integrated campaign execution and reporting.
- Manage campaign budgets effectively, ensuring maximum ROI for clients.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients regarding Google Ads strategy and performance.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Google Media Planner or similar role with a strong focus on Google Ads.
- In-depth knowledge of Google Ads platforms (Search, Display, Video, Shopping).
- Demonstrable experience in managing large-scale, high-budget campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Google Ads certifications (Search, Display, Video).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with SA360 or other bid management platforms.
- Knowledge of other programmatic advertising platforms.
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices.
- Experience working with international clients or multi-market campaigns.
