Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Picker and Packers at our Ashford fulfillment center. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for those looking to start their career in warehousing or logistics, with no prior experience required. You will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders and preparing them for shipment, contributing to our mission of delivering smiles to customers worldwide. This role involves light work within a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick items from shelves based on customer orders using handheld scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate packaging for shipment.
- Perform quality checks on picked items to ensure accuracy and condition.
- Prepare packages for dispatch by labeling and sorting them correctly.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions in English.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy (for using scanning devices).
