Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive WFH Game Coordinator with a strong focus on project management to join our distributed team. This is a 100% remote position. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting various game development projects, ensuring smooth coordination, effective communication, and timely delivery. You will work closely with project managers, development teams, and external partners to maintain project schedules, track progress, and facilitate efficient workflows in a fast-paced environment. Your keen eye for detail and ability to anticipate needs will be crucial in keeping our projects on track and our teams aligned.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project schedules, timelines, and deliverables for multiple game development initiatives.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between remote development teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Track project progress, identify potential roadblocks, risks, and dependencies, and assist in their resolution.
- Organize and prepare meeting agendas, detailed minutes, and follow-up actions to ensure accountability.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring all information is current, accurate, and easily accessible.
- Support project managers in resource allocation, task assignment, and backlog management.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new team members, integrating them into existing project workflows and tools.
- Monitor and report on project metrics, contributing to continuous improvement of processes.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello) and collaborative tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and conciseness.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proven ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment.
- Familiarity with game development lifecycles, methodologies, or production processes.
- Excellent problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a coordinator, project support, or administrative role within the technology or gaming industry.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- A genuine passion for video games and a deep understanding of the gaming industry.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Perforce, Git) is a plus.
