Job Description
Join XPO Logistics as a High-Value Electronics Hauler with a dedicated team driving focus. In this critical role, you and your driving partner will be responsible for the secure and timely transport of sensitive and high-value electronic equipment across designated routes. This position demands a meticulous attention to detail, adherence to strict safety protocols, and a strong commitment to protecting our clients’ valuable assets. Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles as part of a two-person team to transport high-value electronic goods.
- Ensure the safe and secure loading, transport, and unloading of sensitive cargo, adhering to all security protocols.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELDs) and all required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, team partner, and clients.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Perform minor roadside adjustments and repairs as needed.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum of 2 years verifiable CDL-A driving experience
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with team driving operations
- Previous experience transporting high-value or sensitive cargo
- Hazardous Materials (HazMat) endorsement
- TWIC card or ability to obtain one
