Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team, serving clients across all suburbs of Mobile, AL. This vital role involves providing essential personal care and support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist with safe client transfers and mobility, using appropriate equipment as needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks essential to the client's health and comfort.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as required.
  • Monitor and report changes in client's condition or behavior to the supervising nurse.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
  • Assist with medication reminders, adhering strictly to care plans.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients.

Required Skills

  • Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
  • Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and patience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow care plans accurately and work independently.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Experience working with diverse client populations.
