Job Description

We are seeking motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Hospital Porters. This entry-level, non-clinical role is crucial to the smooth operation of our hospital, ensuring the efficient movement of patients, equipment, and supplies. If you’re looking for stable work in a supportive environment and are dedicated to helping others, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transporting patients safely and comfortably between wards, departments, and other areas of the hospital.
  • Moving medical equipment, furniture, and supplies throughout the hospital.
  • Delivering and collecting laboratory samples, patient notes, blood products, and pharmacy items.
  • Assisting with the management of waste and linen, ensuring correct disposal and collection procedures are followed.
  • Responding promptly to requests from medical staff, nurses, and other departments.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
  • Providing compassionate support and clear communication to patients and visitors.
