Job Description

As a Hospital Porter, you will be a crucial part of our hospital’s operations, ensuring the smooth movement of patients, equipment, and supplies. Key Responsibilities
- Transporting patients safely and comfortably between wards, departments, and diagnostic areas.
- Moving medical equipment, furniture, and supplies across the hospital site.
- Delivering urgent specimens, blood products, and pharmacy items.
- Assisting with the safe handling of deceased patients.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy environment, including waste disposal.
- Communicating professionally and empathetically with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Responding promptly to requests from medical and nursing teams.
Required Skills
- Reliable and punctual.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to perform duties that involve lifting, pushing, and walking for extended periods.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach.

- No prior experience required; full training will be given.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
