Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly Ice Cream Scoopers to join our team for a fun and busy summer season. As an Ice Cream Scooper, you will be the face of Baskin-Robbins, serving up smiles and delicious treats to our valued customers. This is an immediate hire opportunity for individuals who love working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service with a friendly attitude.
- Accurately scoop and prepare ice cream cones, sundaes, milkshakes, and other dessert items according to Baskin-Robbins standards.
- Handle cash and process credit card transactions using a POS system.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, dining area, and restroom facilities.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are strictly followed.
- Assist with stocking inventory, refilling toppings, and preparing waffle cones.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is a plus, but not required.
- A valid Food Handler's Card (or ability to obtain one upon hire).
