Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and efficient Industrial Packer to join our dynamic team in Downtown Overland Park, KS. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, offering a top hourly rate for motivated individuals. As an Industrial Packer, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing and distribution process, ensuring products are accurately and safely prepared for shipment. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently pack finished products into designated containers, boxes, or crates according to specifications.
- Verify product counts and ensure all items are free from damage before packing.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information and product codes.
- Operate manual and power lifting equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) to move materials within the warehouse, if certified.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Perform quality checks on packed items to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Report any discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and guidelines.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
