Job Description
Are you passionate about global brands and eager to kickstart your career in branding and public relations? Edelman is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Branding Assistant to join our dynamic team in Joliet, IL. This exciting entry-level role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to projects with a ‘Netflix Global Image focus,’ supporting our senior branding strategists in developing and executing communication strategies that enhance and protect the global image of one of the world’s leading entertainment platforms. You will gain hands-on experience in brand monitoring, content creation, market research, and client support, all while learning from industry experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the research and analysis of global brand trends, competitor activities, and media coverage relevant to Netflix's global image.
- Support the development of branding and communication strategies, presentations, and reports for client projects.
- Draft compelling content for various communication channels, including press releases, social media posts, and internal communications.
- Monitor and report on brand sentiment and media mentions across global markets, utilizing various analytics tools.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent brand messaging and asset delivery.
- Organize and maintain branding collateral, digital assets, and project documentation.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for brand campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to senior branding strategists as needed.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of branding principles, marketing, or public relations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications
