Job Description
Are you passionate about hair coloring and eager to master the art of balayage and highlights? Toni&Guy in Irvine is seeking a motivated Junior Colorist to join our dynamic team through a comprehensive paid training program. Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in all paid training sessions on balayage, highlights, color theory, and product knowledge.
- Assist senior colorists with client consultations, color applications, and treatments.
- Prepare clients for color services, including shampooing, conditioning, and setting up stations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the color bar and salon workspace.
- Learn and adhere to all Toni&Guy color formulations and application protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable client experience.
- Support the salon team with general duties as required.
- Gradually take on supervised client color services as skills develop.
Required Skills
- Cosmetology license or enrollment in a cosmetology program (required for California salons).
- Basic understanding of hair structure and color principles.
- Strong passion for hair coloring and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional demeanor and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and trends.
