Job Description
Join Timpson as a vital member of our team, responsible for the efficient and friendly collection and drop-off of laundry items for our valued customers within a flexible, designated route. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy being on the move, interacting with people, and managing their own schedule within set parameters. You will be the friendly face of Timpson, ensuring our customers receive a seamless and convenient laundry experience, all while operating a company vehicle safely and responsibly.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently collect laundry items from customer homes or designated drop-off points.
- Deliver freshly cleaned laundry back to customers, ensuring timely and accurate service.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any queries or concerns professionally and courteously.
- Maintain accurate records of collections, deliveries, and customer interactions.
- Handle laundry items with care, ensuring they are transported and delivered in pristine condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies while operating a company vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with the branch team regarding route progress and any issues encountered.
- Represent Timpson's brand positively and professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving license with a clean record.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible route.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Physical ability to lift and carry laundry bags as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role.
- Good geographical knowledge of Blackburn and surrounding areas.
- Proficiency in using navigation apps and basic mobile technology.
