Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Market Research Scribe with a keen interest in Sentiment Analysis to join our dynamic San Antonio team. In this role, you will be crucial in transcribing, summarizing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data, with a specific focus on understanding consumer sentiment and perceptions. You will work closely with market research analysts to transform raw data into actionable insights, helping our clients navigate complex market landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe qualitative data from interviews, focus groups, and open-ended survey responses.
- Perform initial sentiment analysis on textual data, identifying positive, negative, and neutral tones, as well as key themes and emotions.
- Summarize complex research findings into concise and coherent reports and presentations.
- Assist in coding and categorizing qualitative data to identify recurring patterns and insights.
- Collaborate with senior researchers to refine sentiment analysis methodologies and reporting formats.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all transcribed and analyzed materials.
- Contribute to the creation of compelling data visualizations and client deliverables.
Required Skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data transcription and summarization.
- Basic understanding of market research principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with sentiment analysis concepts or basic textual data analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology, English, or a related field.
- Previous experience (internship or entry-level) in a market research, data entry, or transcription role.
- Experience with qualitative data analysis software (e.g., NVivo, ATLAS.ti) or sentiment analysis tools.
- Demonstrated interest in consumer behavior and market trends.
