Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mobile Porter to join our team in Gloucester. This unique role involves travelling between multiple Premier Inn hotel sites within the Gloucester area, providing essential support to maintain our high standards of service and operational efficiency. A company van will be provided for travel between sites, ensuring you have the tools to succeed. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including moving luggage, delivering supplies, assisting with minor maintenance, and supporting various departments as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a dynamic work environment, possesses a strong work ethic, and has excellent organizational skills. Flexibility and a willingness to travel are key to this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently transport luggage, packages, and supplies between multiple Premier Inn hotel sites in the Gloucester region using a company-provided van.
- Assist hotel guests with luggage handling upon arrival and departure, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Support various hotel departments (Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance) by delivering necessary items, equipment, or materials.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks or report larger issues to the appropriate team members across sites.
- Ensure the company van is maintained in a clean and tidy condition and report any vehicle issues promptly.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with guests and staff at all locations.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces or meeting rooms as required.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driving license with a clean record.
