Job Description
Join the Amazon delivery team as a Multi-Drop Delivery Driver in Baltimore, MD. We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to deliver packages to customers across various routes. As a crucial part of our logistics network, you will be responsible for safe, timely, and efficient deliveries. A company van is provided, along with full training and weekly pay. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and a supportive team environment, making it an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy being on the road and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a company-provided delivery van to transport packages.
- Perform multiple stops per day, delivering packages to residential and commercial addresses.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, ensuring a clean driving record.
- Use handheld devices for route navigation, package scanning, and delivery confirmation.
- Provide exceptional customer service, interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Inspect vehicle pre-trip and post-trip, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned routes within designated schedules.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring they are delivered in excellent condition.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license (Class C or equivalent).
- Clean driving record for at least the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in multi-drop delivery or a similar driving role.
- Familiarity with the Baltimore metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
- Experience using navigation and delivery tracking software.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
