Job Description

Canva is seeking a dynamic and patient Online Creative Assistant to support 13-year-old teens with simple graphic design projects. This fully remote role involves guiding teens through basic design tasks using Canva’s user-friendly platform, fostering their imagination, and providing encouraging feedback. Key Responsibilities
- Provide online assistance and guidance to 13-year-old teens on various simple graphic design projects using the Canva platform.
- Help teens navigate Canva's features, templates, and design elements to bring their ideas to life.
- Offer constructive and positive feedback to encourage creativity and improve basic design skills.
- Answer questions and troubleshoot minor technical issues related to using the Canva platform.
- Prepare and organize simple graphic assets or templates for teen projects as needed.
- Maintain a supportive and engaging online learning environment.
- Collaborate with program coordinators to ensure a smooth creative experience for all participants.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in using graphic design tools, especially Canva or similar user-friendly platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with young people.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to simplify complex design concepts for a younger audience.
- Reliable internet connection and experience with online communication tools (e.g., video conferencing).
- Basic understanding of design principles (e.g., color, layout, typography).
