Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Music Lesson Coordinator with an administrative focus to join our dedicated team in West Valley City. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our lesson programs, managing student enrollments, instructor schedules, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music, strong administrative skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced educational environment. Key Responsibilities
- Manage student registration and enrollment processes, including new student onboarding and re-enrollments.
- Coordinate and maintain instructor schedules, ensuring optimal utilization of teaching spaces and timely communication of changes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for student and parent inquiries, providing timely and professional assistance via phone, email, and in-person.
- Process lesson payments, manage billing inquiries, and maintain accurate financial records using our academy's system.
- Assist with the organization and promotion of student recitals, workshops, and other academy events, including logistical support.
- Maintain accurate student and instructor databases, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with privacy policies.
- Support instructors with administrative tasks, including materials preparation, room bookings, and communication coordination.
- Contribute to a positive, welcoming, and engaging academy environment for all students, parents, and staff members.
Required Skills
- Proven administrative or office coordination experience, preferably in an educational or music-related setting (1+ year).
- Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to task management.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) and experience with database management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine customer service-oriented approach and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and manage time efficiently in a dynamic and busy environment.
- A demonstrable passion for music education and appreciation for the performing arts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Music, Arts Administration, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with student information systems (SIS), CRM software, or specialized scheduling applications.
- Familiarity with various musical instruments, genres, and teaching methodologies.
- Previous experience in a school, academy, community arts organization, or similar educational institution.
