Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Full-Time Nanny to provide exceptional care and support for two children, aged 6 and 9. This role involves creating a safe, stimulating, and organized environment, promoting their development, and assisting with daily routines. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine love for children, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to childcare. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive and nurturing care for children aged 6 and 9, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Plan and execute engaging educational and recreational activities, including arts and crafts, outdoor play, and learning games.
  • Assist with homework and school projects, fostering a positive attitude towards learning.
  • Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks, accommodating any dietary needs or restrictions.
  • Manage children's schedules, including school pick-ups/drop-offs, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children, including tidying play areas and children's bedrooms.
  • Communicate regularly and openly with parents regarding children's progress, activities, and any concerns.
  • Handle occasional errands related to the children, such as grocery shopping or supply purchases.
  • Administer basic first aid when necessary and manage minor illnesses.
  • Foster good manners and social skills.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional nanny or childcare experience with school-aged children.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain immediately).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to plan engaging activities and foster intellectual development.
  • Proven reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Discreet and professional demeanor, respecting family privacy.
  • Comfortable with light household tasks related to children.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in an additional language.
  • Experience with positive discipline techniques.
  • Experience working in a private family setting.
  • Ability to swim.
