Join the Electronic Arts team as a Night Shift QA Analyst in Carmel, Indiana, focusing on our renowned EA Sports titles. Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for EA Sports titles during assigned night shifts.
- Identify, document, and track software defects (bugs) with clear and concise reporting using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, producers, and fellow QA analysts to understand project requirements and provide timely feedback.
- Perform regression testing, retesting resolved defects, and verifying fixes.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings, providing status updates on testing efforts.
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current gaming hardware, software, and industry trends.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in manual software testing, preferably within the gaming industry.
- Proficiency with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability and willingness to work consistent night shifts.
- Passion for video games, especially sports simulation titles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Game Design).
- 1-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, specifically in game testing.
- Familiarity with various gaming platforms (PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch).
- Basic understanding of game development pipelines and methodologies.
- Experience with test case management tools.
- Knowledge of scripting or automation concepts.
