Key Responsibilities
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress in an accredited nursing program, adhering to all program requirements and university policies.
- Complete assigned clinical rotations and work placements within Kadlec facilities, gaining experience in various specialties.
- Actively participate in mentorship activities and professional development workshops provided by Kadlec.
- Adhere to all Kadlec policies, procedures, and patient care standards during work placements.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to support patient care initiatives under supervision.
- Demonstrate a commitment to Kadlec's mission, vision, and values throughout the program.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Enrollment or acceptance into an accredited Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ADN/BSN) program
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 (or equivalent) in pre-nursing coursework
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated passion for patient care and the healthcare field
- Ability to commit to full-time study and work placement requirements
- Basic computer proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting (e.g., volunteer, CNA, medical assistant)
- Strong academic record with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Demonstrated leadership potential or involvement in extracurricular activities
- Ability to speak Spanish or other languages common in the community
