Job Description

Are you deeply connected to the pulse of what’s cool for 15-year-old teens? Do you instinctively know what’s trending before it hits mainstream? Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking an enthusiastic and keen-eyed Online Brand Scout to join our innovative team. This unique role is perfect for someone with a genuine passion for youth culture, social media trends, and emerging brands. You will be instrumental in identifying potential opportunities for partnerships, content creation, and brand alignment by monitoring the digital landscape where teens live and interact. Your insights will directly influence our strategic decisions, helping us to better engage with and serve the teen demographic across our vast portfolio of brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, etc.) and online communities to identify emerging trends, influencers, and brands popular with 15-year-old teens.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to understand what other brands are doing to engage the teen market.
  • Research and analyze teen consumer behavior, preferences, and purchasing drivers.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on findings, including data, observations, and actionable recommendations for various internal teams (Marketing, Content Development, Product).
  • Identify potential collaboration opportunities with teen-centric brands, creators, or platforms.
  • Stay informed about new digital tools, platforms, and technologies relevant to youth engagement.
  • Present findings and insights to cross-functional teams in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Act as an internal expert on current and future teen culture trends.
