Job Description

Are you detail-oriented with a keen eye for user experience? Hootsuite is looking for an Online Feedback Analyst to join our team in Yaletown, Vancouver. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our digital products by providing invaluable feedback on various applications, websites, and user interfaces. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves to explore new digital platforms and has a passion for improving user journeys, even with no prior professional experience in analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Rigorously test and evaluate assigned web applications and mobile apps across different devices and operating systems.
  • Identify, document, and categorize bugs, usability issues, and areas for improvement in a clear and concise manner.
  • Provide structured and constructive written feedback based on predefined criteria and user scenarios.
  • Collaborate with product development and UX/UI teams to communicate findings and suggest solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with current digital trends, user experience best practices, and competitor analysis.
  • Participate in team discussions and contribute insights to improve testing methodologies and feedback processes.
  • Complete daily feedback assignments efficiently and maintain a high standard of quality.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
  • Proficiency in navigating various web browsers, operating systems (iOS, Android, Windows, macOS), and mobile devices.
  • A genuine interest in technology, web applications, and mobile apps.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of user experience (UX) principles is a plus, but not required.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience participating in online surveys, beta testing, or user feedback platforms.
  • Familiarity with project management or bug tracking tools.
  • A portfolio or examples of written analysis or product reviews (personal blog, app store reviews, etc.).
