Are you a creative 16-year-old with a passion for writing and digital content? Alabama Media Group is looking for an enthusiastic Online Web Content Aide to join our team, focusing on blog creation and support. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated teen to gain hands-on experience in online media, content management, and digital storytelling. You will contribute to engaging blog posts, research trending topics relevant to your peers, and learn the fundamentals of online publishing in a supportive, remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in researching and brainstorming blog post ideas relevant to a teen audience.
- Draft and edit blog content under guidance, ensuring accuracy and engaging tone.
- Help with basic SEO tasks, such as keyword research and meta description suggestions.
- Support social media content creation related to blog posts.
- Gather and organize digital assets (images, videos) for blog use.
- Participate in content strategy meetings, offering a teen perspective.
- Proofread and review existing blog content for quality and consistency.
- Learn and apply basic content management system (CMS) functions.
Required Skills
- Must be 16 years old at the time of application.
