Job Description

Are you passionate about helping people see clearly and look great? Specsavers in Hanley is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Optical Dispenser Intern to join our dynamic team. You’ll work closely with experienced Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of spectacle dispensing, customer service, and optical best practices. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with frame selection, ensuring a perfect fit and style that meets their individual needs.
  • Learn and apply optical measurements to accurately dispense spectacles and contact lenses.
  • Support the clinical team by performing pre-test procedures and maintaining patient flow.
  • Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and contact lens care.
  • Handle customer enquiries, schedule appointments, and manage administrative tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and professional retail environment.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and regulatory guidelines within the practice.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
