Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and safety-conscious Palletizer Operator with a strong aptitude for automation to join our production team in Tulsa, OK. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining our automated palletizing equipment, ensuring the efficient and accurate stacking of finished beverage products. Your attention to detail and ability to respond to and troubleshoot minor machine issues will be vital in maintaining our high production standards and minimizing downtime. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to apply their mechanical skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor automated palletizing machinery to ensure continuous and correct product flow.
- Load and unload materials from palletizer, including pallets, slip sheets, and stretch wrap.
- Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Identify and resolve minor equipment malfunctions and production issues, escalating complex problems to maintenance personnel.
- Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
- Ensure all products are correctly stacked, wrapped, and prepared for storage or shipment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies.
- Assist with other production line duties as needed to support overall operational efficiency.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand and follow complex instructions, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and machine interface.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience operating automated machinery in a manufacturing or production setting.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
- Knowledge of beverage production processes.
- High school diploma or GED.
