Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Part-time Door Supervisor to join our team, ensuring safety and order at vibrant venues across New Port Richey. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check identification of patrons entering the venue, ensuring compliance with age restrictions and venue policies.
- Monitor entry and exit points, controlling access to restricted areas.
- Conduct regular patrols of the venue to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security risks.
- Effectively manage crowds, ensuring smooth flow and preventing congestion.
- De-escalate conflicts and handle challenging situations with professionalism and discretion.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies promptly, accurately documenting and reporting all occurrences.
- Liaise effectively with venue management, local authorities, and emergency services when required.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting patrons with inquiries and directions.
- Enforce venue rules and regulations, including those related to alcohol consumption and prohibited items.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a security or customer service role, preferably as a Door Supervisor or Security Guard.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Effective conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Must be available to work weekends and evenings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Florida Security D License or ability to obtain one prior to employment.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience working in nightlife, entertainment venues, or hospitality security.
- Knowledge of local licensing laws and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
